Grow Guerrilla privacy

Grow Guerrilla Privacy Policy

Grow Guerrilla ("the App") is a single-player, offline roguelike defense game built by Yodabi s.p. We do not operate any servers, we do not require an account, and we never see your name, email address, or contacts. The only data processing happens through the optional Google services described below — ads, purchases, and Play Games cloud saves — and each of them is either opt-in or user-initiated.

1. Data We Collect Ourselves

None. The App has no backend of our own, no registration, no login, and no analytics or tracking SDK operated by us. We never receive your personal data on any server we control.

2. Game Progress Stored on Your Device

Your game progress (unlocks, upgrades, statistics, settings, purchase entitlements) is saved locally on your device in the App’s private storage. This data never leaves your device unless you sign in to Google Play Games and cloud saves sync it (see section 4). Uninstalling the App deletes this local data.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob) — Optional, Rewarded Ads Only

The game shows no forced ads. The only ads are rewarded videos that you explicitly choose to watch in exchange for an in-game bonus. If you never tap an ad button, no ad is loaded.

Ads are served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). When an ad is requested, Google may collect and process data such as:

Where required by law (e.g. the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland under GDPR), the App shows Google’s consent form before ads are initialized, and you can decline personalized advertising. On iOS the App additionally respects Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization at any time in your device settings (Android: Settings > Google > Ads; iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking).

Purchasing the “Golden Grow License” in-app product permanently removes all ad placements from the game.

For details, see Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from partner apps.

4. Google Play Games Services — Optional Sign-In, Cloud Saves, Achievements

On Android you may sign in with Google Play Games (Google LLC) to unlock achievements and back up your save game to the cloud. This is optional; the game is fully playable without signing in.

If you sign in, the App receives only your Play Games player ID and public display name (used to greet you in the menu). The App never receives your real name, email address, or Google account credentials.

Cloud saves: your game-progress file is stored as a Play Games “Saved Game” snapshot in storage tied to your own Google account. It contains only game data (unlocks, statistics, settings, owned products) — no personal information. It is used solely to restore your progress across devices. Achievements you unlock are recorded with Google Play Games and shown according to your Play Games profile visibility settings.

You can manage or delete your Play Games profile and its data at any time in Play Games settings on your device or at myaccount.google.com.

5. In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing / Apple App Store)

Optional in-app purchases (for example the Golden Grow License or in-game currency packs) are processed entirely by Google Play (Google LLC) or, on iOS, by the Apple App Store (Apple Inc.). We never receive or store your payment details (card numbers, billing address, etc.). The App only receives a confirmation of which product was purchased so it can grant the item, and this entitlement is stored in your local save. You can restore previous purchases from within the game; this queries your purchase history with the store on your request.

See Google’s Privacy Policy and Apple’s Privacy Policy.

6. App Updates and Reviews

The App uses Google Play’s standard in-app update and in-app review components. These talk directly to Google Play to check for a newer version of the game or to show the rating dialog. They do not give us access to any personal data.

7. Permissions

The App requests a single Android permission: INTERNET. It is used only for the Google services described above (serving rewarded ads you request, purchases, Play Games sign-in and cloud saves, update checks). The App does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, files, or any other sensitive permission.

8. Children’s Privacy

Grow Guerrilla is intended for adults (18+) and carries a mature content rating due to drug references. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the App and data was collected through the third-party services above, contact us and we will help address it.

9. Data Sharing and Selling

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data. The only parties that process data in connection with the App are Google (AdMob, Play Games, Play Billing, Play updates/reviews) and, on iOS, Apple (App Store purchases), each acting under their own privacy policies as described above.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

11. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because the data described in this policy is processed by Google and Apple rather than by us, the most effective way to exercise these rights is through your Google account, your device’s privacy settings, or Apple’s privacy portal. You can also contact us at the email above and we will do our best to help.

12. Security

The App ships no custom networking: all network traffic goes through Google’s and Apple’s official SDKs over encrypted connections. Your save data is stored in the App’s private, sandboxed storage that other apps cannot read.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves (for example if new features or services are added). Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page, and the current version will always be available at this URL.
