NonoPop Privacy Policy

NonoPop ("the App") is a single-player nonogram puzzle game built by Yodabi s.p. We do not operate any servers, we do not require an account, and we never see your name, email address, contacts or photos. Photos you turn into puzzles are processed entirely on your device. The only data processing outside your device happens through the Google services described below — advertising and purchases.

1. Data We Collect Ourselves

None. The App has no backend of our own, no registration, no login, and no analytics or tracking SDK operated by us. We never receive your personal data or your photos on any server we control.

2. Your Photos

With the Premium upgrade you can turn a photo into a puzzle. You choose the photo yourself in the system photo picker; the App cannot browse your gallery and does not request broad photo or storage access.

3. Game Progress Stored on Your Device

Your game progress (solved puzzles, statistics, streaks, settings and purchase entitlements) is saved locally in the App’s private storage. On Android, game progress may be included in your device’s Google backup if you have backup enabled; your personal photo puzzles are excluded from that backup and stay on the device. Uninstalling the App deletes this local data.

4. Advertising (Unity LevelPlay, Unity Ads and Google AdMob)

The free version of the App shows banner ads on menu screens, occasional interstitial ads between completed puzzles, and rewarded videos that you can choose to watch for an extra hint or undo. Ads are never shown while you are solving a puzzle. The Premium upgrade removes every ad.

Ads are delivered through Unity LevelPlay (Unity Technologies and its affiliate ironSource), an ad mediation service that selects an ad from its partner ad networks. The ad networks currently used are Unity Ads (Unity Technologies) and Google AdMob (Google LLC). When an ad is requested, these providers may collect and process data such as:

Where required by law (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and in US states with privacy laws), the App shows Google’s consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) before ads are requested, and your choice is passed on to LevelPlay and its ad networks through the industry-standard IAB consent signals, and you can decline personalized advertising. If you decline, you may still see non-personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy choices in the App. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).

For details, see Unity’s Game Player and App User Privacy Policy (covering LevelPlay and Unity Ads), Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from partner apps.

5. In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)

Optional one-time purchases (the lifetime Premium upgrade and themed puzzle packs) are processed entirely by Google Play (Google LLC). We never receive or store your payment details. The App only receives a confirmation of which product was purchased so it can unlock it, and this entitlement is stored on your device. You can restore previous purchases from within the App; this queries your purchase history with Google Play on your request.

See Google’s Privacy Policy.

6. Sharing Puzzles

When you tap Share, the App creates an image of your finished puzzle and opens the Android share sheet. Nothing is sent unless you pick a destination yourself, and the recipient app handles the image under its own privacy terms.

7. Permissions

The App uses INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE for ads, consent and purchases, BILLING for Google Play purchases, AD_ID and Android’s ad-services permissions for advertising, READ_BASIC_PHONE_STATE (declared by Google’s ads SDK to read non-sensitive device details such as the network type; it grants no access to calls, contacts or phone numbers), and VIBRATE for optional haptic feedback. It does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or files, and it does not request broad photo access — photos are only available to the App when you pick one yourself.

8. Children’s Privacy

NonoPop is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the App and data was collected through the third-party services above, contact us and we will help address it.

9. Data Sharing and Selling

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data. The only parties that process data in connection with the App are Unity Technologies (LevelPlay mediation and Unity Ads) and Google (AdMob, the User Messaging Platform for consent, and Google Play Billing), each acting under its own privacy policy as described above.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

11. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because the data described in this policy is processed by Unity and Google rather than by us, the most effective way to exercise these rights is through the App’s Privacy choices, your Google account, or your device’s privacy settings. You can also contact us at the email below and we will do our best to help.

12. Security

The App ships no custom networking: network traffic goes only through Unity’s and Google’s official SDKs over encrypted connections. Your game data and photo puzzles are stored in the App’s private, sandboxed storage that other apps cannot read.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves (for example if new features or services are added). Material changes will be reflected by a new date at the top of this page, and the current version will always be available at this URL.
